Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that the situation is under control though flooding has been reported in several parts of the State.
He said directions have been issued to the District Collectors to assess the situation and those affected with flooding be provided relief under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Sawant said that after the monsoon, the government will work on long-term measures for low-lying areas which are prone to flooding.
