PANJIM: The State government on Thursday ordered the transfer of six police officers with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by Nelson B R Albuquerque, Superintendent of Police (HQ), Panjim, ASP Tikram Singh Verma, IPS, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as SDPO Canacona while ASP, Arshi Aadil, IPS, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as SDPO Ponda.
DySP Sandesh T Chodankar, who was SDPO Canacona, has been transferred and posted as SDPO Mapusa. DySP Ashish S Shirodkar, who was SDPO Ponda, has been now posted at Cyber Crime and ATS Panjim.
DySP Jivba Dalvi, who was SDPO Mapusa, has been posted as SDPO Pernem in place of DySP Rajesh Kumar, who has now been posted at Crime Branch-I.
“On the recommendation of the Police Establishment Board, the IPS officers reported to the State Administration and Junior Scale Officers of Goa Police Service (Deputy Superintendent of Police) are hereby transferred/posted at the places indicated against their names with immediate effect,” the order said.
