PANJIM: The State government on Wednesday reshuffled postings of six officers of Goa Civil Service. Venancio Furtado, who held the post of Managing Director of the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited, is posted as Inspector General of Prisons replacing Ashutosh Apte of the additional charge.
Apte, who also held the charge of Additional IGP and Superintendent of Jail, is posted as State Registrar-cum-Head of Notary Services.
GIDC MD Derrick Neto, holding additional charge of MD Goa Human Resources Development Corporation, is allotted another additional charge of KTCL whereas Brijesh Manerkar is transferred as Special Land Acquisition Officer at EDC with additional charge of Member Secretary of the Goa Football Development Corporation.
Vasudev Shetye is the new Additional IGP with additional charge of Superintendent of Jail and Shivaji Dessai is posted as Director of Public Grievances with additional charge of Additional Secretary (Protocol).
