Six Injured, Including Children, in Roadside Explosion Near Karnataka Temple

At least six people, including school-going children, were seriously injured after a suspected explosive object detonated on a roadside near Karnataka’s Molgi Marayya Temple in Molkera village on Friday. The sudden blast caused panic, with villagers rushing to help the injured before emergency responders reached the spot. The exact nature of the object remains unknown, and forensic teams are expected to examine the area to determine the cause. Local authorities have launched a preliminary investigation to assess whether negligence or criminal intent was involved. Initial findings suggest that a man dealing in inflammable materials had stored items meant for disposal together, possibly triggering the explosion. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, some in critical condition. Security has been tightened, and District in-charge Minister Eshwar B Khandre has ordered a detailed probe while ensuring prompt medical care.
