PANJIM: With 612 COVID-19 patients being declared cured on Monday, the State’s recovery rate saw further rise and stood at 83.56 per cent.
The day, however, also saw more 438 people testing positive while six succumbed to the deadly infection. Goa has reported 32,396 confirmed coronavirus cases, of which 4,917 are active cases. Total deaths reported are 407 and 27,072 patients have recovered.
Of the total six deaths, three died in Goa Medical College, one each at ESI Hospital Margao, Public Health Centre Sanguem and at a private hospital Margao. As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), the victims include 50-year-old male from Bastora-Mapusa, 64-year-old male from Khorlim-Mapusa, 63-year-old male from Canca-Verla, 68-year-old male from Salcete, 50-year-old male from Aldona and 59-year-old male from Sanguem.
