Skeletal remains of infant recovered

Maina Curtorim police on Sunday recovered the skeletal remains of an infant which was found buried at Carvotta-Loutolim.PI Sidhant Shridokar informed that the incident came to light when a local resident noticed the skeletal remains and immediately informed the police.
“It appears that the skeletal remains were that of a baby boy born pre-mature,” PI Shirodkar said, adding that the remains have been dispatched to the Hospico for post mortem examination. The Maina Curotirm police have registered a case of unnatural death.
