MAPUSA: A human skeleton was found on the second floor of a building in the jurisdiction of Mapusa market late night on Wednesday.
Chairperson of Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) said, “We had decided to undertake repairs of the second floor and further auction it. Accordingly on Wednesday, municipal staff visited the building for inspection of the floor where they found the skeleton along with some clothes. Followed by which police were called.
A team of Mapusa police visited the spot and after completing all the formalities, shifted the skeleton to the GMC.
