CANDOLIM: The Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Candolim has recently introduced new medical services with starting of a skin specialist, dietician and ayurvedic physician.
The skin specialist will be available at the health centre on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. There will also be a dietician made available for the public especially for diabetics, at the newly started Community Diabetic Centre on all days of the week.
All diabetic patients are requested to register with the CDC and make a diabetic card. Free insulin pen, refill cartridges and basic oral medications for diabetes will be made available on registration.
At the same time an ayurvedic physician will be made available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with an ayurvedic therapist visiting twice a week.
