Solar eclipse on Dec 26

MARGAO: The annular solar eclipse will be partially visible in Goa on December 26th morning between 8.05 am to 11 am wherein 88 per cent of the sun will be covered by the moon and the maximum coverage will occur at around 9.23 am. The annular solar eclipse will be seen clearly with 92 per cent of the sun covered along the belt Ooty, Mangalore, Coimbatore, Erode and Kozhikode.
The next annular solar eclipse will be visible in India only in 2034 while the last annular solar eclipse occurred in 2010 and total solar eclipse was seen in 2009.
