A floating concrete jetty and a solar-electric hybrid ferry were inaugurated at Panjim Ferry Point on Thursday. The inauguration as done jointly by Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal & Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The solar ferry will ply from Chorao to Panjim in the fastest possible time and will be free for 15 days. Two more solar ferries are scheduled to be commissioned and the routes will be decided, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said.
