MARGAO: South Goa District Congress condoled the deaths of its two valiant members who were totally dedicated to the party and worked tirelessly to promote it amongst the people.
The two Congress stalwarts who passed away are GPCC Secretary Franky Pires and former South Goa District Secretary Paulo Colaco, who was also the former sarpanch of Navelim.
Speaking at the condolence meet held at the South Goa District Congress office, Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro recalled their works and how they reached out to people as and when required. Faleiro regretted that they could not help the two in their hour of need.
GPCC President Girish Chodankar said their deaths are an irreparable loss to the Congress as both worked with sincerity and honesty.
