VASCO: South Goa BJP President Tulshidas Naik on Saturday filed his nomination for Sancoale Panchayat and appealed to the people to avoid voting for candidates who had formed a panel while alleging that most of the panels were fielded by the builders lobby and also associated with Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd” I have been the outgoing panch and I want to complete the pending development works that are already in the pipelines but were held up due to Covid Pandemic and also complete the pending project of the New Panchayat Ghar which is in my ward . We have laid the foundation stone for the project three times but as of now we have shifted to a new temporary location and paying huge rent amount in lakhs  but no one seems to be taking forward the plans of construction of the new Panchayat Ghar so that we don’t waste huge  public money on rent to the temporary premises ” said Naik

” ZACL is trying to sell its huge tract of land after selling it’s plant and may soon leave Goa but the Sancoale Panchayat is yet to receive huge amount of outstanding upto the tune of.minimun Rs 1000 crores in the form of rent back, tax etc and we have to recover this amount.  This is possible only if people elect good people who can help recover this amount and refrain from voting for people claiming to be longest serving Sarpanch because they have only wasted precious years and done nothing for the people. A lot of panels are fielded and heavily financed by builders who want to carry out mega projects in Sancoale and increase the work load on the panchayat and these panels are also associated with ZACL who will use these candidates to take an exit out of Goa without paying their outstanding dues running into crores,” said Naik .
