MARGAO: South Goa Superintendent of Police Chandan Chaudhary has urged the people of Salcete and South Goa to provide information on any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.
She was briefing the media with regards to the rampant desecration of religious structures and the spate of robberies.
The SP informed that till date 9 crosses have been desecrated including a temple in the last 10 days.
“Initially, we thought it was done by some mentally challenged person but the repeated incidents have proved that it is a deliberate attempt to create tension,” the SP said.
