PANJIM: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has transferred Superintendent of Police Bosco George (IPS) to Arunachal Pradesh whereas North Goa Collector R Menaka (IAS) is transferred to Delhi.
Presently, posted as SP FRRO, George was inducted into the Indian Police Service in 2019 and became the third officer to enter the IPS Cadre after SPs Atmaram Deshpande and Arvind Gawas.
Meanwhile, the MHA’s January 5th order also mentions about transfers of 2014 batch IAS officer Swetika Sachan to Goa (currently posted in Arunachal Pradesh) and 2012 batch IPS Officer Abhishek Dhania to Goa (currently posted in Delhi).
The MHA has also partially modified its previous order regarding the transfer order of IAS Officer Amit Satija, presently holding the post of Health Secretary in the Goa government.
Satija is transferred to Lakshadweep instead of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
