CANACONA: The Principal of Shree Balram Residential High School and Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar’s wife Savita Tawadkar filed her nomination for panchayat elections from Ward No 9 (Amona) of Poinguinim village Panchayat on Monday.
She submitted her nomination paper to the Returning Officer Manoj Korgaonkar.
Canacona Taluka so far has received 241 nominations out of which 82 were submitted on Monday, the last day to file nominations.
