MARGAO: Konkan Railway Corporation (KRC) has decided to run special trains between Surat and Madgao in coordination with Western Railway to clear extra rush of passengers.
As informed by Baban Ghatge, Chief Public Relation officer, KRC train 09193 / 09194 Surat – Madgaon In. – Surat (weekly) special on special fare.
Train 09193 Surat – Madgaon Jn. (weekly) special on special fare will leave from Surat at 19:50 hrs on February 15, 2022 (Tuesday). Train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 12:30 hrs on the next day.
Train 09194 Madgaon Jn. – Surat (Weekly) special on special fare will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 13:40 hrs on February 16, 2022 (Wednesday). Train will reach Surat at 08:35 hrs on the next day.
Train will halt at Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali stations.
The composition of the special train has a total of 17 coaches equal to one AC chair car, 14 second seating coaches and two SLR.
Bookings for the above trains have opened from February 13 at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and IRCTC website.
