In a tragic incident, a taxi on the new Zuari Bridge took a harrowing tumble on Wednesday. The accident occurred when a taxi driver was allegedly speeding and lost control of the vehicle, leading to a collision with an electricity pole and a subsequent overturn on the flyover’s Corlim side.
The impact of the crash left the middle electricity pole severely damaged and broken. The driver of the taxi and two passengers suffered injuries and have been shifted to a hospital for treatment. Further investigations are on and more details are awaited.
