Sportspersons who win medals at the National or International level will be eligible for government jobs, Goa Sports Minister Govind Gaude announced at the 8th Tribal Sports Festival at Ponda on Thursday.
He added that government may affect 3 to 5% of reservations for sports in various government departments. He called on sportspersons to dream big to achieve success. Around 1700 participants participated in the games, where tribal players were felicitated.
