Announcing the results, GBSHSE chairman Ramakrishna Samant said that for the academic year 2019-20, the total pass percentage is 92.69 per cent, which is almost the same to 2019.
Samant said that of the 9620 girl students, who answered the exams, 8973 cleared it with a pass percentage of 93.27, and 8581 boys cleared the exams out of 9319 who appeared with a pass percentage of 92.08.
“Since the last five years, the pass percentage has seen an increasing trend, which can be attributed to students’ performance along with benefits of grace, sports and internal marks,” Samant said.
Though, 7073 students had applied to avail sports marks, only 273 candidates passed using the sports merit marks. The percentage of students passing with sports merit marks is just 1.56.
