PANJIM: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Tuesday declared the results of SSC examination (supplementary) with an overall pass percentage of 40.96.
The number of candidates registered for the supplementary exam was 1,633, of which all appeared and 668 passed.
Speaking to Herald, GBSHSE Chairman, Ramakrishna Samant said, “There is no specific reason for the drop in pass percentage of the supplementary SSC exams. This is an annual trend. We will issue a circular to schools in terms of the dates for the verification of answer booklets.”
The distribution of passing certificates cum statement of grades/marks will be done on July 4 from 10am to 5pm at the board’s office.
Heads of institutions have to send their representative with an authority letter to collect the results. Private candidates can collect their passing certificate from board’s office on producing the hall ticket.
