PANJIM: Locals of St Andre Constituency were upset over the heavy water-logging witnessed at Tinto Mandur, at St Andre and surrounding areas.
There were complaints of water entering a restaurant, damaging the belongings of the place and roads being covered with accumulated water.
Fear of damage to locals and private property were also raised.
The locals complained about the nullah overflowing and how it posed a danger to the villagers.
The locals pointed out that when it had rained in the previous month and during the cyclone in May, they had to face a lot of similar issues.
