SANCOALE: The feast of St Joseph Vaz, Patron Saint of Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, will be celebrated on January 16, at the site of the old Church of Our Lady of Health, Rua Escravo de Maria, Sancoale.
On the feast day, the Masses will be celebrated at 7 am (Konkani), 8.15 am (English) and the concelebrated High Mass at 10 am (Konkani) to be presided over by Archbishop-Patriarch Rev Filipe Neri Ferrão. Bishop of Sindhudurg Alwyn Barreto and Bishop Alex Dias, Emeritus Pilar will be the other concelebrants with the participation of representatives of the clergy, religious and laity.
All Masses will be live-streamed on the Diocesan website CCRTV and GCTV,
which will be available also on their respective YouTube channels.
The feast of St Joseph will also be celebrated at Our Lady of Patrocinio Chapel, Pulvaddo-Benaulim. The feast Mass will be at 4.30 pm. Fr Nelson Lobo of Padre Pio Friary, Navelim will be the main celebrant. All SOPs and directions of the Archdiocese of Goa will be followed.
