CURCHOREM: The annual feast of St Sebastian was celebrated with great pomp and ferour at St Sebastian chapel, Khamamoll-Curchorem, on Sunday.
Today as the church also celebrates the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, during his homily while celebrating the feast mass, the parish priest of Guardian Angel church, Curchorem urged the faithful, particularly the women member, to pray and work to maintain unity and love among all the members of the family.
“Follow the footsteps of St Sebastian and forgive one another by maintaining unity and love first in the family and then among the neighbours,” said Fr Miranda urging particularly the women member in the family. Later, the statue of St Sebastian was taken in a procession where large number of devotees participated.
