PANJIM: The Goa government has apologised for the frequent power breakdowns in many parts of Goa assuring it would not recur. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is taking stock of the situation.
“We are apologetic to whatever has happened. CM is monitoring the situation from US. He spoke to the Power Minister a day before and is in fact in touch with all the ministers,” Rane told reporters in response to a question over criticism surrounding frequent and long duration power cuts in Goa. He assured that the crisis will not recur and people need not panic.
