PANJIM: Stating that the Congress has been discarded by the people for their betrayal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national spokesperson and Delhi MLA Raghav Chadha on Tuesday claimed that it will be a straight fight between BJP and AAP during the upcoming 2022 Goa Assembly elections.

Addressing the media persons, Chadha said that the people of Goa are eagerly waiting for a change. “In 2017, they looked at Congress for change but what they got was merger by Congress MLAs in BJP,” he said.

“In today’s contest, Congress has become irrelevant. Congress has diminished and discarded for their betrayal. They betrayed the people of Goa. Hence, in the coming election, it will be a straight fight between the BJP and AAP,” Chadha said.

He said that the State today needs an upright and honest political party to lead the Goans and not the party which is looting the people.

Chadha said that the AAP Goa unit is fully geared up to form the next State government. “Only an upright and honest political party can save Goa and its people,” he commented.

Speaking about pollution issue in Delhi, the AAP leader maintained that it is not Delhi but entire North India is chocked with air pollution. He also admitted that the third wave of COVID has hit Delhi and the situation is alarming.
