PANJIM: The government has re-constituted Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Board, twice within a span of nine months. Interestingly, some of the Board of Directors (BoDs) have been replaced with new faces as a notification was issued on Wednesday.
The new BoDs include GTDC Chairman Dayanand Sopte, Dr Shrikant Azgaonkar, Sudesh Sawant, Suchana Gadekar, Dr Mohd Mudassir, Anand Khandeparkar, Vishwanath Trodkar, Deepraj Prabhu, Secretary (Tourism), Director (Tourism) President of the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa and Managing Director GTDC.
“Sopte shall be the Chairman as per the provisions of Clause 117 of the Article of Association of GTDC Ltd,” the notification states.
