State govt to carry governance at people’s doorsteps from Sept 19

PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Friday announced that the State government will introduce a special programme to carry the governance at the doorsteps of the people from September 19 onwards.

While addressing the media persons along with Tivim MLA Nilkanth Halarnkar, the Chief Minister explained that the initiative called “Sarkar Tumchya Dari” will be launched from Tivim on Sunday and that thereafter it will be held across the other constituencies of the State. 

Sawant explained that representatives of all the concerned State government departments will be present for this programme and that they will address the issues raised by locals and even clear the pending files. He also pointed out that he will be present for half a day. 

Giving more details, Sawant added that all government related issues such as Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, Election Card, Dayanand Social Security (DSS) Scheme, Kissan Cards, Social Welfare Schemes will be addressed by the senior government officials who will be part of the programme.
