MARGAO: Vistadome Coach, a state-of-the-art rail coach, manufactured by Integral Coach Company, Chennai for the Konkan Railway, was launched on Monday at Konkan Railway Station, Margao.
The coach has been made-to-order for the Ministry of Tourism Government of India at a cost of Rs 3.3 crore and will be attached to Janashatabdi.
The coach, which has rotating, luxurious seats and business class facilities for passenger, offers a transparent glass roof and big viewing windows to enjoy nature during travel.
The Deputy General Manager, has on behalf of the Konkan Rail, thanked the Tourism Department of the coach and has urged all to take maximum benefit of the coach facility.
