PANJIM: The Goa government has decided to create additional posts in Goa Police as it intends to strengthen the force.
Director General of Police Mukesh Kumar Meena took to Twitter to inform that government has sanctioned 10 new posts of police sub inspectors and 150 assistant sub inspectors.
“In addition to the ongoing recruitment of Home Guards,PSIs,PCs &other posts of #goapolice,hon’ble @goacm has further strengthened Goa Police by sanctioning 10 New posts of PIs and 150 ASIs. We are committed to peace and safety in Goa and expresses gratitude to the Government,” he posted on Wednesday night.
The Department last month advertised 1097 vacancies for Police Sub-Inspector, Police Constables, Searcher, Assistant Sub Inspectors (Wireless Operator), Photographer, Laboratory technician, Police Constable (Bandman) (male), Police Constable (mask luskar) (male, Police Constables (Wireless Messenger), Stenographer and Lower Division Clerk.
