PORVORIM: The mortal remains of the Estevao (Steve) Tadeu Souza Ticlo, the younger brother of Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo, were laid to rest at his native village of Socorro on Saturday.
Steve (46) was killed in car accident at Porvorim in the wee hours of February 20.
The funeral cortege left his ancestral residence at Carrem, Socorro at 3.30 pm to Our Lady of Socorro church for Eucharistic celebration.
The main celebrant at the funeral mass was Director of Clergy Home Fr Oscar Quadros, while the concelebrants were Socorro Parish Priest Fr Santano Carvalho and Aldona Parist Priest Fr Amandio Valadares.
Among those present at the funeral services included CM Manohar Parrikar, Fisheries Minister Avertano Furtado, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, Tivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar, Dabolim MLA Mauvin Godinho, Quepem MLA Babu Kavleker, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida and former CM Digambar Kamat.
