MAPUSA: In yet another incident, unknown persons robbed Rs 1.25 lakh cash and mobile accessories worth Rs 65,000 from a mobile shop located at Mapusa market.
According to the shop owner Narpat Singh Rajput, the incident came to light when the shop owner as usual went to open the shop in the morning; he found the shutter of the shop broken. He also found the accessories such as mobile chips, laptops and power banks all worth rupees 65,000 and cash rupees 1.25 lakhs which was at the counter missing.
Mapusa Police conducted panchanama. Fingerprint expert was also pressed into service. Police suspect that this is the same people who had targeted and break opened three other shops on last week in the municipal market.
