QUEPEM: A youth contesting the Students Council election at the Government College, Quepem was allegedly assaulted by a rival faction in the college campus on Saturday.
Nived Naik, a student who is contesting the elections said that he was allegedly assaulted and threatened by three persons Dilkush, Om Naik and Prajwal Naik, full name not known and who is a member of ABVP on Saturday. Naik along with NSUI South Goa district president Shane Rebello and Quepem block president Rushab Phal Dessai has filed a complaint with college principal and also with the Quepem police in this regard.
