Students who were shifted to the health centre were later discharged after a medical examination. Parents of the students demanded to know the causes of the lizard falling into the meal, so as to avoid future incidents. This is the first such incident since schools re-opened in June.
Students panic as lizard found in midday meal
PONDA: There was panic among students of Mahanandu High School at Bhoma as around 22 class VIII students were shifted to the Betki health center as they fell sick after eating the midday meal on Tuesday morning. On checking the meal a lizard was found in the food.
