PANJIM: The State government has constituted a Study Group under Water Resources Chief Engineer, for critical examination of Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Karnataka for Kalasa-Bhandura nullah projects approved by the Central Water Commission (CWC).
The study group will discuss and deliberate the study’s findings, issues flagged by the members and apprise the Chairman. The committee will submit its Report by April 30 this year.
The members of this study group are WRD chief engineer PramodBadami, WRD engineering officer ShantaramGhantkar, Mhadei Cell executive engineer DilipNaik, WRD Assistant Surveyors of Works, CPO, Neil Agshikar andRoshanMaenkar, Retired CWC MemberChetanPandit,, Goa University retired scientist DrNandkumarKamat, Dr PuranandSawaikar and Dr AkshayNigale, Dr KG Gupta and Prof Wilma Fernandes, all from both from of Goa Engineering College and WRD EO retired G V Maladkar
