Suchana says everything, except confessing for the crime she committed

CALANGUTE: The eerie silence of Suchana Seth in the murder mystery of her 4-year-old child has been deepening by every passing day.

Right from the first instance of her getting intercepted at Chitradurga by the Aimangala Police station to the present day of her not uttering a single word while being taken to the crime scene, is giving jitters to the police investigating the case.

Suchana has done everything except revealing any details of the incident that happened with her son. After two attempts, Suchana consented for the recreation of the crime scene by visiting the Sol Banyan Grand service Apartment property. However, Police have said that she continues to deny having murdered her son and maintains that it was a natural death.

The custody of Suchana ends on Saturday and the police are in a pursuit to extend the custody. The husband Venkat Raman is expected to visit the police for statement on Saturday

Sources have informed that she is an ardent reader of fiction and has asked for some books to read while she is in custody.

But how big is the problem of Suchana not speaking with the police? Police officials have said that there is enough evidence to ensure she is tried in the case.

However, even as police made two attempts to get her statement or description of the crime that she allegedly committed by taking her to the crime spot, Suchana remained completely silent.

A senior police official while commenting on her silence in the matter said, “She has been named as 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics list and she is exhibiting wittiness in the investigation as well,” he said.

CALANGUTE: Suchana Seth, accused of murdering her four-year-old son last Sunday, was on Friday taken by Calangute police to the apartment hotel at Candolim where the crime took place. The police team led by PI Paresh Naik, reached the spot from Calangute police station at around 5 pm and were there for around 90 minutes to “recreate” the circumstances in which the offence was committed, police said.

The accused was initially not willing to come to the spot but was finally persuaded by the police who asked her to cooperate with the investigations, according to Calangute police. She continues to deny that she killed her son, they said.
