PONDA: In a bid to rejuvenate the Sanjivani sugar factory at Dharbandora, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said the government will appoint a special committee to find out the cause of losses suffered by the factory and suggest measures. Parsekar was speaking after launching the sugarcane crushing season at Sanjivani sugar factory on Monday.
Parsekar said the committee would consist of
sugarcane farmers, government officers and experts. Industries Minister Mahadev Naik said the government plans to set up an industrial estate in Dharbandora taluka.
MLA Ganesh Gaonkar, Darbandora Sarpanch Kalidas Mayenkar, Dharbandora Deputy Collector Sagun Velip, Mamlatdar Satish Prabhu, Registrar of Co-op Society Jagnath Binghi and Satyvijay Naik were present.
