panjim: The State has invited suggestions/objections from the public on draft of the Motor Vehicles Rules, which would be considered at the time of its finalisation. The Transport Dept has granted 15 days to submit the same while the details of the draft have been released in the notification on Thursday.
“The Draft Rules which the gov proposes to make so as to further amend the Goa MV Rules, 1991 are hereby pre-published as required by Sec 212 of the Act, for information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said Rules will be taken into consideration by the govt after the expiry of a period of 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette,” the notification states.
All objections and/or suggestions are to be forwarded to the Director of the Directorate of Transport before the deadline.
