Counting of votes was taken up at Ponda Mamlatdar’s office on Monday morning.
There was some confusion when one of the 764 votes polled in ward 3 of Usgao Panchayat was found missing at the time of counting.
The post had fallen vacant after the High Court disqualified former panch Deepa Naik, who incidentally re-contested and lost. In ward 1 (Kurpas) of Bandora Panchayat, the post fell vacant after former panch Shrikant Gavde resigned.
