MARGAO: A Surat police team is currently in Margao to investigate a series of mobile thefts that occurred in Amroli, Surat. Sources have revealed that the team visited a mobile shop in Margao, where they reportedly seized a mobile phone believed to be linked to the thefts.
Approximately a year ago, 15 mobile phones were reported stolen in Amroli, Surat, prompting a complaint to be filed at the Amroli police station under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
As the investigation progressed, one of the stolen mobile phones was traced to Margao. Consequently, the police team arrived in Margao and is said to have apprehended an individual in connection with the case.
