MARGAO: The Madgaum Urban Co-Operative Bank, which is under liquidation, has issued a final notice asking all locker holders to surrender their lockers by March 8.
The bank has warned that locker holders who do not surrender their lockers run the risk of their lockers being forcefully opened. It may be recalled that the bank had earlier issued registered notices to the customers who availed of the locker facility, and who had failed to surrender them by September-end.
“We are now issuing this final notice to all those locker holders who have not yet surrendered their lockers, to surrender the same, failing which the banks shall take action,” said S V Naik, the liquidator.
