PANJIM: Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation has announced a survey on “drinking water, sanitation, hygiene and housing condition” and “persons with disabilities.”
As a part of the National Survey being conducted by National Sample Survey Organisation, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, officials are visiting houses in selected rural and urban areas of the State. The survey commenced in July 2018 and will continue till December 2018 and the Directorate has been declared as the nodal agency for the carrying out the survey.
“The general public are urged to extend their full co-operation to the field officials in order to enable them to collect correct data and to make the survey a success. The information collected during the survey will be kept strictly confidential and will be used for statistical purpose only,” a release issued by the department states.
