BICHOLIM: The dairy farmers from Bicholim have demanded immediate suspension of the Goa Dairy managing director for using abusive language against a director of a milk society from Sal in Bicholim.

Addressing a press conference in Bicholim, a dairy farmer said that the Goa Dairy MD verbally abused a director of Bhumika Co-op milk society.

As per sources the Bhumika society director had expressed concern over the Goa Dairy’s decision to divert the milk outside the State for producing milk powder. He has said that Goa Dairy would face losses if they continue with the same. He had also requested the management to look into the matter.

Following this the managing director  used abusive language against the Bhumika director. On Sunday, through a press conference the Dairy farmers from Goa denounced the unruly behaviour of the managing director and demanded his immediate suspension.

“We demand immediate suspension of the managing director. We have also lodged a complaint against him at the Bicholim police,” said the Bhumika director.
