A major accident took place between an SUV and a scooter on Saturday, near the Blueberry Wedding Hall along the Verna Highway. According to sources, the vehicles were moving towards Verna from Vasco when the speeding SUV allegedly lost control and dashed against the Scooter. The scooter was flung to the other side of the road grievously injuring the rider.
The rider was shifted to the South Goa district hospital. Verna police are carrying out further investigation.
