Doctors from the Tuem Health Centre collected 84 fresh swab samples of residents of Dandoswada, Mandrem and 60 swab samples from Konadi Corgao for COVID-19 testing. This was following the new cases detected in both these areas. Corgao Sarpanch stated that the infected areas would be sealed but until Wednesday evening, people were moving freely. Elsewhere, doctors from the Purva Health Centre collected swab samples of 133 people from Varkhand, Pernem after a resident working in an office at Panjim had tested positive on Tuesday.
