The Labour Commissioner’s post fell vacant after Arun Desai was transferred out of the State following his elevation to IAS.
Similarly, as Sandip Jacques was transferred out of State on IAS duty, Govind Jaiswal, IAS, has been given charge as Executive Director of Sport Authority of Goa. Naveen SL, IAS, has been appointed as Additional Collector II (North) and also as Managing Director, Goa Handicrafts Rural and Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Ltd.
PS Reddy, IAS, who has been transferred to the State, has been given charge as Secretary Urban Development, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Civil Aviation and Sports and Youth Affairs.
In another reshuffle among Goa Civil Services officers, Pundalik Khorjuekar has been posted as Dy Collector and SDM, Canacona with additional charge of chief officer Canacona Municipal Council.
Chandrakant Shetkar has been posted as Dy Collector and SDM, Bardez with additional charge of Administrative of Comunidade North.
