Swede held with live bullet at Dabolim Airport

VASCO: Vasco Police on Monday afternoon arrested a 45-year-old Swedish national on charges of possessing single live bullet in her baggage at Dabolim Airport.

According to Vasco Police, Christina Hardings, who had come to Goa for the New Year celebrations, was proceeding to Mumbai. However, while Hardin’s baggage was being screened before she could board a flight, CISF detected a single live 5.56 mm bullet.

“Hardin claimed that the bullet may have unknowingly remained in her bag, as she is a military instructor in Sweden,” said Vasco Police.

Vasco Police arrested Hardin under Arms Act and is investigating the case.
