VASCO: In order to expedite its entire staff get vaccinated, the South Western Railway (SWR) on Friday announced that the railway employees in the age group 18-45 years are eligible for reimbursement of vaccination charges (even from private hospital) of Rs 780 inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
A total of 36,778 staff of the age group 18-45 will stand benefited from this scheme.
It may be noted that since several weeks several “vaccination-at-workplace” drives have been organised by the South Western Railway already and nearly all the employees of age 45 plus years have been vaccinated.
