PONDA: An outing ended in a tragedy for a group of people, when a 30-year-old resident of Cardoz-wada, Taleigao, reportedly drowned in a stream at Tambdi Surla Sunday afternoon. According to Collem Police Inspector Jivba Davli, Gautam Haldankar reportedly drowned at about 2.30 p.m. He was rushed to Community Health Centre Valpoi, where he was declared brought dead. The body was later sent to GMC Hospital, Bambolim for post-mortem.
