PANJIM: Taleigao MLA and Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate visited locals, including those who are living in an area, where the abandoned vessel is visible and in close proximity. Locals, especially the fishing community whose work has been affected, had earlier expressed their concern about what would happen in case of any disaster.
“Met with our locals and Revenue Secretary to assess the situation surrounding the grounded vessel MV Nu-Shi Nalini. Our Hon’ble CM @DrPramodPSawant along with the @indiannavy, @IndiaCoastGuard & other officials are working round the clock to fix the current situation, the Minister tweeted on Monday evening.
