PANIM: Shiv Sena in Goa, which is aiming to contest the 2017 Assembly polls, is likely to collapse with its State chief Sudip Tamankar moving away from the party.
The Maharashtra-based party was preparing to fight the elections against BJP in alliance with Goa Suraksha Manch (GSM) and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP).
Tamankar, who was appointed as Goa region president on June 24, 2016, told media persons that he was not taken into confidence by party’s senior leaders while appointing Shivprasad Joshi as senior vice president of Goa State.
